Compensation Overview
The Experior compensation model is designed to reward both personal production and team development. As your career grows, you may unlock additional income streams and bonus eligibility.
Important: Please read before continuing
This is a commission-based independent contractor opportunity. You are not an employee. There is no guaranteed salary, hourly wage, or minimum income. Compensation depends entirely on the business you personally produce and, at qualifying levels, business produced through your organization. All compensation figures are gross amounts before expenses, chargebacks, taxes, and other deductions — actual net income will be lower. Most new advisors earn modest income while they learn the business. You must hold a valid provincial insurance license, active E&O insurance, and completed carrier contracting before you can write eligible business or earn commissions.
Gross vs. Net Compensation
All figures referenced are gross compensation — before deductions. Your actual take-home (net compensation) will be lower after accounting for:
- • Chargebacks (commission recovered if a policy lapses within the chargeback period)
- • Business expenses (licensing, E&O insurance, technology, marketing, travel)
- • Income taxes (you are responsible for your own tax obligations as an independent contractor)
- • Any other applicable deductions or adjustments
